FORKLIFT ENDORSEMENT

Unit Standards 18496

This course covers the Forklift Operators Certificate; this will allow a forklift to be operated, on the road.

Must hold at least a Full Class 1 licence (full New Zealand car licence)
Study notes will be issued at time of booking for the Forklift Endorsement
Forklift endorsement is not valid unless this has been endorsed onto the driver licence, this should be completed ASAP after the course is completed. (AA/VTNZ endorsement fee $62.10)

What is an F Endorsement

An F endorsement is required if you need to drive a forklift on public roads.

What is a Public Road

A public road is defined as any place accessible to the public, whether as of right or not. This includes driveways, car parks, and uncontrolled yards.

Do I Need a Full Driver Licence

Yes, a full Class 1 licence is required for the F endorsement. However, a driver licence is not needed for our Forklift Operator training. (WorkSafe)
